Prosciutto is a genuine healthy food/aliment because of it is raw meat preserved only with time, with salt and with the dry cold of our land. During the seasoning process enzymes (all the lean components of prosciutto are very rich in enzymes) activate a process of pre-digestion of the proteins and of the fats, in this way becomes much more easily digestible.

That’s why the Prosciutto of Norcia, without preservatives, colorants, nitrites and nitrates, is recommended for the nutrition of little kids and of athletes: there are no additive contents, it is not cooked so it is still contains all its high quality proteins and its nutritive values. It is recommended for people of all ages, moreover in presence of gastric and intestinal pathologies thanks to its high content of iron, phosphorus, potassium, zinc and selenium and it can also be consumed in the evening, as well, because it doesn’t excites the nervous system and the thyroid gland.
